South Florida is still producing good peacock bass fishing in Miami. We had a guide trip on Saturday and landed 12 peacock bass up to 4 lbs. All our fish were caught on shiners. The water conditions were good with levels dropping and quite clean for this time of year. As the water temperatures cool off and recede conditions will improve for Everglades Bass fishing along with Lake Okeechobee. Three years of low lake levels have taken off fishing pressure on bass on Lake Okeechobee and should make for a great fishing this winter and spring.
